Breton vs Spanish
Last week 10,000 Bretons were demonstrating in Nantes for the defense of the Breton culture and language with the participation of the President of the Brittany region Council and the General Council of Loire-Atlantique. Result, almost nothing in the press! Ten days later, 5,000 people in Barcelona manifest to "denounce the offensive" of the governments of autonomous communities where languages ar co-official (Catalonia, the Basque Country and Galicia) which hinder the teaching of Spanish. When it comes to defending the majority language, the press (Le Monde, Courrier International) talks about ... Everybody can judge!
