Founder of Eurominority
|
www.eurominority.eu is the most complete website
about European minorities on Internet. It was created
in 1999. It is the website of the Organization Eurominority.
It aims at the diffusion of information on minorities
thanks to a large network of correspondents in
Europe! The association is based in Quimper in
Brittany, town in which it was created in September
2002. Because it is the very big work what the research
task implies, the website is in permanent evolution
and is updated regulary. The website is translated
in a lot of European languages thanks to the goodwills
of volunteer translators [see
the list].

The
flag of Eurominority represents the union between Europeans and the diversity
of the peoples of Europe. It takes again the flag of the Council of Europe and
the European Union. The colors are the "Pantone" codes "Blue reflex"
and "yellow 112". The stars are in circle but create an innumerable
star radius, thus representing diversity, the importance and the radiation of
the minority cultures.
